Recommendations for taking great pictures:

• Clear off any shelves.
• Take picture without clutter
• Take pictures from multiple angles to determine best shots.
• Use at least one close up of material or wood to appreciate the pattern, texture and color.
• When selling a rug, mirror, or piece of furniture, try to include the dimensions of each piece. This will help the buyer determine if it is the right fit. 
• For Bedding, please include sizing (king, queen,full or twin).
• We reccomend that you price your items to sell not to sit.  Depending on the item and condition, you may want to start at half the original sales price. Obviously, the lower the price the faster it will sell.
• Sellers, remember to view your listings frequently to see how many people have been clicking on your items.  This will help you determine if you need to lower your price or not.
• For now, we have kept several items that have sold on the site to help you with pricing as well as the type of items that are being sold. 
• Make sure your pictures are not too dark - keep the room well lit while taking pictures.

Other tips and information:

• Sellers, remember to check your emails.  Please provide us with adequate information such as multiple phone numbers so we are able to get in touch with you.  Frequently, buyers are ready to purchase immediately.  We will email you for a response first. We really strive to have a quick response for prospective buyers. Let us know if you no longer have an item for sale, as it is very inconvienient to purchase an item that does not exist!
• If you are a buyer who visits us frequently, click on view all listings to see most recently added items.  The pictures at the top will be the newest additions.
• Attention Buyers...check out the wish list to see if there are any requested items you might have to sell and make some cash!!
• We are now accepting credit cards,debit cards at no additional cost to you the seller.
• WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASHIERS CHECKS, CERTIFIED CHECKS, MONEY ORDERS OR WIRE TRANSACTIONS DUE TO FRAUDULENT CLAIMS.
• Payments made with e-checks may take up to 4 days to clear thru paypal.

How do I know if anyone is looking at my items?

You can actually track the amount of times potential buyers view your items from our website.  You are also able to edit the price of your items and can change the description whenever you want...Just log in and click on "my listings" and you can view the number of times each item has been viewed, or click on edit under picture to change price, description or anything else you wish to change, 24 hours 7 days a week!!

Do I really get 80-90% of the sale of each item?

Yes, can you believe it?  You will not find this percentage at an consignment store.  Our intentions are to give you the most that we can for your items.  Our goal is to reach as many people as we can in Northwest Arkansas as possible to attain this goal.  Tell all of your friends because the more people listing items the more great deals for all of us!!!

How do I know if someone purchases my item?

You will be sent an email notifying you of your item being sold as well as payment confirmation and buyers email/number. Once this is received we ask that you contact the buyer as soon as possible to set up arrangements to exchange item/items.

How do I get Paid?

A check from Makin' Room is issued to you immediately upon payment approval and verification of item exchange. Please provide correct mailing addresses. Payment can be made thru paypal as well.

I keep getting a fatal error message when I try to load my pictures, help, what should I do?

Usually the reason you will receive a fatal error message is because your pictures are too big. 3 options:

prior to taking your picture, you can go in to the menu section of your camera and change the setting to size small or you can resize them on your computer. Your easiest option is to just enter your listings and email us the pictures so we can resize them and add them for you.
